St. Luke's Legacy Society

July 07, 2023 • Rev. David Heetland

In October 2022 a letter was sent to church members informing them of the creation of St. Luke’s Legacy Society. A legacy gift is a gift made through one’s estate plan to help ensure that St. Luke’s continues to fulfill its mission for generations to come. Once received, the gift is placed in the church’s permanent endowment fund, with the annual earnings used to support the church’s various ministries.

Those who have included St. Luke’s in their estate plan become members of St. Luke’s Legacy Society, which provides an opportunity for the church to thank these foresighted individuals. Forty-five individuals or families have already shared that St. Luke’s is included in their estate plan. Click here to read some of the stories of what prompted them to do so.

St. Luke’s will recognize and thank members of St. Luke’s Legacy Society at a special luncheon on Sunday, November 5, 2023. If you have not yet shared with St. Luke’s that you have included the church in your estate plan, please do so by contacting David Heetland, Pastor of Planned Giving & Stewardship, at 317.399.6202 or David.Heetland@gmail.com. We would love to add your name to the growing list of Legacy Society members and include you in the November thank you lunch.
